SEED PROJECT

Student Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development

Loden SEED (Student Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development) is an entrepreneurial education program for students. This is a unique opportunity to explore and develop the entrepreneurial potential of students.

According to the Loden Foundation, innovation and entrepreneurship must be nurtured early by equipping students with basic business knowledge and skills. This exposure to entrepreneurship enables students to consider this activity as a viable career option.

Twice a year, the Loden Foundation partners with institutions in Bhutan and organizes two-day training courses. The training is also aimed at people who have created a small business and wish to develop it. Classes are held in all regions of Bhutan and generally accommodate up to 100 participants. Topics covered include marketing, business strategy, accounting, writing business plans, and how to turn an idea into a business proposal.
